It’s not perfect, but It’s memorable

This beautiful chateau is nestled in serene surroundings, perfect for a getaway. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed delectable food in the bar after the restaurant was fully booked. The comfortable room offered a lovely night's sleep. A perfect retreat, though a car is essential for exploring the area.

the room had a musty smell which wasn’t cool. loved the large comfy bed tho and the bathroom was super nice with a great tub. staff was super friendly and the grounds were perfect for strolls.

this is my second stay in hesdin-l'abbe and the chateau surpassed my expectations with its charming decor and spacious rooms. the grounds are beautifully landscaped, perfect for evening strolls. breakfast included freshly baked pastries and a variety of juice options that made mornings delightful.

This place suits me perfectly, offering free wi-fi, a bar lounge, and in-room breakfast. The staff were wonderful, particularly in helping my elderly parents. I highly recommend enjoying the restaurant for delicious meals! I'm excited to return for a city trip.

It was just an excellent fit for a day tour in Hesdin-l'Abbe with a good price-quality ratio. I loved the huge conservatory for breakfast, it really made my mornings special. Check out the nearby farmhouse for a more modern stay option.

Staying at the Chateau in Hesdin-l'Abbe was a mixed bag. I loved the charming decor and the spaciousness of the room. My bed felt extremely comfortable, and the views from the window were lovely. Breakfast included freshly baked pastries that set a delightful tone for the day. The staff, particularly Clement at reception, added a warm touch. the negatives were hard to ignore. The toilet being separate from the bathroom made for a clumsy experience. An unpleasant odor lingered in the room, which made the stay less inviting. The breakfast buffet was lacking hot options and ran out of items like croissants, which felt disappointing. the dinner pricing seemed excessive for the portion sizes. The room needed a thorough clean since I experienced itching at night, perhaps due to unwashed bedding. while I appreciated certain aspects, the room's condition and dining quality left much to be desired.

The cottage was okay, but the initial room smelled terribly from fresh paint.

Recommend it for golfers seeking good food

We enjoyed breakfast that had a great selection! They even prepared coffee and croissants for us on an early morning departure, which was above and beyond the usual service.

Dinner was a bit pricey, but worth the quality we got.
